God is a Good God!
We serve a God of miracles! For the past 13 years we have been good stewards of what God has provided for this ministry. The Covenant Hearts Planning Committee has done a fabulous job of investing time, talents and treasure to make the annual Valentine's Gala elegantly impactful.
Each year we have been blessed with quality volunteers. Each year we made incremental improvements. Each year it has gotten better. And each year we have received complements from the attending married couples. However, each year we'd be left with barely enough CASH ON HAND to survive until the next event's admission fees started to roll in. Even that hope of survival was ravaged by the pandemic because we had to cancel the 2021 gala. What are we to do?
So, here is how you can help... Please prayerfully consider becoming a Covenant Hearts Ministry Partner with a monthly donation of support and/or a one time large donation. We need your help! We know that you have enjoyed yourselves.... We know that you have made some beautiful memories. Now we are praying for a giving spirit to break out and provide robust support for maintaining the quality of our events and to add more opportunities for you to make greater memories. SO, WE NEED YOU HELP!
Here's a major reason why. When renting a hotel or resort event space for a future event we have to pay 10% of the guaranteed revenue to the facility up front when we sign the space reservation contract. That means if the guaranteed hotel revenue is $30,000.00 we have to give them $3000.00 cash long before we collect deposits or admission funds from the 1st couple. We can't do much future planning if we can't execute the contract to reserve the desired event space. SO, WE NEED YOU HELP!
Secondarily, the cost of services from the vendors is increasing. Be they thru the hotel or directly to the ministry, everyone is looking to increase their revenue to cover their increased costs. SO, WE NEED YOU HELP!
Now, God is giving each of us an opportunity to participate in this ministry to married couples. Each year the feedback from the attending couples confirms that the ministry is impactful. Celebrating and teaching about marriage God's way is desired and appreciated. It is our mission to provide the opportunity for you and yours to rekindle and reconnect.
