2023 Valentine's Gala Notice
It is with great sadness that I announce that we will not be presenting
the 2023 Valentine's Gala.
I was not able to acquire space at an acceptable hotel site. The competition of corporate events coming back into the convention market after the COVID-19 induced delay was too great to overcome. Corporate events are large and are planned with guaranteed income for the hotels.
With full knowledge that the event market costs have shifted, I have an appointment with a Rosen hotel representative in March 2023 to explore the opportunity of putting together a package for the 2024 Valentine's Gala. Additionally, I have a short list of other quality hotels and resorts to explore. I will keep everyone advised of my progress, as much as possible.
We will miss being with each of you but remain hopeful that we will gather again in 2024. Your role will be to make your decision to attend as quickly as possible and sign up. The quicker our contractual event guarantee is met and exceeded, the more the hotel(s) will give weight to our event proposals. Please be prepared to help me/us serve you better!
